Silverhorn had been imprisoned at Fort Marion, 1875-1878, where he was one of the more productive artists. Anko (Ankopaaingyadete, "In the Middle of Many Tracks") produced a unique, lunar calendar from August 1889-July 1892, during the period of the Ghost Dance unrest in Indian Territory. Watchymansookwat was a nephew of the prominent Comanche chief Ten Bears.
