Netherfield, 317 North 10th Street, Paterson [sic] New Jersey...This is the painter of the cow waiting for the Chinook which I sent you once..AR" Printed on card: "Montana has one illustrious son in the person of Chas. M. Russell, the true 'Cow Boy Artist.' He paints Western Range life and Indians as no other artist has done. All his friends call him 'Charlie' and he is a prince of goodfellows."
