Digital Collections
The Donald C. & Elizabeth M. Dickinson Research Center's digital collections primarily focus on the photographic collections of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, encompassing topics such as the history of rodeo and the diverse American West as well as western popular culture and art.
Primary resources are a reflection of their time and may be visually disturbing or have language that is harmful.

- The Ralph R. Doubleday Rodeo Photographs Collection contains photographs taken by Ralph R. Doubleday between 1910-1952. As Doubleday traveled across the nation, he documented 40 years of rodeo history through images of people, events, and venues.

- Ralph R. Doubleday Rodeo Postcards
- Ralph R. Doubleday's rodeo photographs tell the early history of rodeo as sport and entertainment. He often printed his photographs as postcards to make them more accessible to rodeo contestants and fans. These postcards represent a small portion of Doubleday's photographs, and the full collection of his work can be found in the Ralph R. Doublday Rodeo Photographs.
